Props from a Legend ! !

I appreciate every single person's support of my work which includes my music, poetry, blogs, photos etc . .

However when I get a thumbs up from music legends such as Narada Michael Walden , who I first became familiar with from being a fan of the legendary jazz-fusion band the Mahavishnu Orchestra ! Mr. Walden has worked with and written songs for the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston just to name a few. He has a discography that spans decades with countless of classics that I can't all mention in this one post ! Just Google him .

Mr. Walden did me the honor of liking one of my posts on Numubu, a wonderful social networking site for musicians ! The post was a link to another site where I have my first couple of EPs Ceteris Paribus and Sigh of Relief available for download and streaming . So he definitely heard MY work ! He also accepted my friend request which meant a lot !!

As a independent artist/musician that wears so many different hats , during the grind sometimes we can feel that some of our work goes unnoticed. But then we get moments like this , it's just inspiring and motivating that our work is noticed and appreciated !!

All music nerds know about what a legend this guy is ! His drum playing alone on classic records has taught me so much being a drummer myself .

It was exciting as a fan of music period, to see and experience this ! Just had to share .

What's up world ?!?!

Yours truly coming at you with another installment in my blog . I've been pretty quiet lately but know I'm working  extremely hard on the several projects I have on deck for you all ! One of which includes a video series on the ArtisticVisionz Youtube channel ! Subscribe & enjoy my visuals that I will be posting very often soon !!

The above video is the 1st episode in the Drums in D-Natural series where I'm showing a little of what I do on the drums . Each video in this series will be different with me showcasing more of my playing style & technique w/ each episode . Episodes in this particular series will feature me playing drums live alongside my MPC, keyboard, my beats & much much more !

I'm starting multiple video series that will be first brought to you via Youtube . Each series will give you all different visuals of myself and my art which will include a video blog, music videos, beat/instrumental videos, original poetry recitals/readings, studio sessions & much much more !!

Drums n the key of D-Natural . . .

What's up good people ! ? ! ?

It's your favorite music producer/poet back for another installment of this here blog of mines ! ! I shot this new video earlier 2day, while fulfilling my side duties as drummer 4 my church ! Being that this is that last weekend of Black History Month, in honor we performed "Lift Every Voice and Sing" for the second song . . Enjoy ! !

I am sooo happy 2 fill you guys in on all the INCREDIBLE opportunities coming my way ! Artistic Visionz Productions is really growing and reaching alot of people out there all over the world !

4 right now, I'll just say that it seriously looks like I'm goin to be working with some of YOUR favorite artist soon ! ! Some of these artist you hear on the radio right now, or see daily on MTV ! ! ! My years of paying dues and working extremely hard is really payin off ! !

So I have alot of work ahead to fulfil some request soon to be coming my way from some majors . . Stay Tuned !

And you know of course, I'm still releasing brand new instrumentals 4 everyone 2 vibe 2 . Along with my new single out called "Madness", I have more new solo singles/appetizers on the way ! !

Also new collaborations in the works to produce more music for my current roster of clients . New poems, photos, and videos on the way as well ! ! Yeah, I REALLY STAY WORKING ! ! ^_^

My grind is non-stop ! Aside from managing all the latest interest in Artistic Visionz , yall know you man is also a full time student in school ! I love my new school I have transferred 2 ! Can't wait to entertain the whole campus with what Artistic Visionz has to offer and make some new fans ! I'll be documenting more of my life on campus as a student and sharing it with you all soon !

Well, gotta go and finish writting this paper which is literally due later this morning when I get to school . . Yikes ! But I love rolling my sleeves up and getting the job done in the clutch !

Yo!

What's up World! Its me D-Natural comin atcha 1nce again!! It's been awhile since I've personally reached out to my supporters here. So, I've decided to share a small treat with you guys.. Above is a vid of me on the drums messing around b4 the start of choir rehearsal. The drums have always been 1 of my favorite instruments 2 play out of the many, that I'm blessed 2 b able 2 play. I've enjoyed playing for my church. I'm improving my skills as a musician and as a professional. I hope you guys enjoy the vid. I be doin that more 4 all of you in the future. I also hope everyone has enjoyed my last few poems I have posted. In the past I've mentioned my upcoming poetry album " Poetic $oul " I'm apologize 4 the delay on that and my other project " The Sigh of Relief " I am happy 2 let yall know that Ill be releasin Poetic $oul in the near future after additional production is done by yours truly. You can expect to hear me perform my poetry live on the album accompanied by my original music, all produced and written by me. This album will serve as the prequel for my 1st full length LP " The Sigh of Relief " album. So look b on the lookout 4 those & other surprises. $tay Tuned...

As 4 other things... I've started my second semester of business school. I'm excited about psychology class. I look forward to learning about the mind, especially my mind! Everyday, I continue to learn about myself. I'm trying to better myself as a man, as a businessman, as a musician, as a professional. Everything brings its own challenges. My mind can be found spinning on the daily. Thoughts racing in many directions. My creative imagination running wild constantly and me goin crazy tryna balance that with my present reality. I'm learning. I am getting better at making the changes that really count. Doin the things that I know will get me ahead. The life of an artist, musician, entertainer can be exciting and at the same draining. U r passionate about your craft. U want 2 expose your art, your soul, the essence of you with your audience, but at the same time you maintain yourself n the balance. A challenge with that is making sure that you don't lose urself n your art to much that u neglect the other blessings n life like family, education, community, nature, etc.. A guy like me is just tryna making progress in winning that challenge. I expect the Artistic Visionz brand to mirror the challenge I face in life to become the best artist and man I can be. I'll continue to express this journey I'm on thru my music, my poetry, my songs, videos, essays, websites, etc.. Just tryna add some that good vibe n2 the universe...

I just wanna thank EVERYONE 4 their support and inspiration!!! Shoutout 2 all my fans and readers here!!! U have know idea how every one of u seeing any of this right now, keeps me goin!!! Look 4 brand new music and poetry by yours truly comin soon. I'll b releasin some nu random singles here and there. We'll just call these appetizers... until I start servin up the main courses!!
